Using Patchcard
You may use, copy, modify, and redistribute the Patchcard software under the MIT license. The demonstration site is provided as a practical example and may change as the format evolves.
Your cards and audio
You retain ownership of cards and audio you create. Only attach audio that you have the right to use, and provide truthful creator, source, and license fields. Sharing a card does not transfer ownership or grant rights beyond its stated license.
No hosted backup
Patchcard does not provide an account or cloud backup. Keep exported JSON or printed cards if the work matters to you. Clearing browser data may permanently remove locally saved cards.
Acceptable use
Do not use the project to distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing material, to misrepresent another creator’s work, or to interfere with the site or other systems.
Warranty
The software and site are provided “as is,” without warranties. To the extent allowed by law, the maintainers are not liable for lost cards, incompatible toy versions, audio rights disputes, or indirect damages.
